Walk into a distribution centre with three packing benches and you will usually see one of two things. Either three separate shredders, one at each bench. Or one shredder and a person walking back and forth with material all day.


    Both are expensive. The first costs three times as much in equipment, maintenance, and floor space. The second costs labour, continuously, every shift.


    The P50-3 is designed around that specific problem. It takes a single sheet of cardboard and divides it into three equal output streams. One machine, three feeds, no walking. Cutting width is 550mm, maximum thickness is 15mm, speed is adjustable from 0 to 18 metres per minute, and power is 110V, 220V, or 380V at 1500W. Weight is around 140kg, identical to the standard P50. Footprint is 740 x 461 x 850mm. The specifications are the same as the P50 in every respect except the output. That is the whole point.


    What changes is the layout. Three output streams need three collection points, so the machine wants clearance around it rather than a corner spot against a wall. Bins or containers should be positioned consistently and emptied at similar intervals, because uneven draw from one stream affects the others. None of this is complicated, but all of it is easier to arrange before delivery than after.


    There is a second use case that buyers often miss. A single high-volume bench can use the P50-3 as a throughput multiplier rather than a distribution tool. Three streams feeding one station means material never runs short during a busy window, and the operator is not waiting for the machine to catch up. If you have a daily courier cutoff, that continuous supply is worth more than the top speed figure suggests.


    Limitations worth knowing. Both the P50 and P50-3 produce mesh, not strips. Operations needing strip output should look at the P50-X, which handles both formats. And at 140kg on a fixed footprint, neither model is something you move between rooms depending on the day's workload. Choose the location properly the first time.
