Two packing stations in the same warehouse often need different materials. One station packs fragile items and needs mesh. Another packs flat items and needs strips for wrapping and separation. Buying two machines is the obvious answer, but it doubles the footprint and the maintenance load. The Aircosan P50-X cardboard shredder solves this with one unit. It has a cutting width of 55cm, a maximum cutting thickness of 12mm, and a speed of 15 m/min, and it produces mesh and strips at the same time.
The dual output means one machine can supply both stations. Mesh goes to the fragile line, strips go to the flat line, and the operator does not switch equipment. That reduces the number of machines on the floor and simplifies training, because both teams learn the same unit.
