Small sellers often sit on a growing pile of boxes they cannot use. Products arrive in cartons, the cartons get flattened, and eventually someone hauls them away. Meanwhile, the same seller buys paper filler and air cushions to protect outgoing orders. The Aircosan P20 cardboard shredder closes that loop. It has a cutting width of 45cm, a maximum cutting thickness of 10mm, and a speed of 10 m/min.
The idea is simple. Incoming boxes become outgoing cushioning. The seller does not buy filler, does not store filler, and does not pay to dispose of boxes. The machine sits at the packing table, and the operator feeds cartons as orders are packed. It is a small change in routine that removes two costs at once.
Aircosan is a factory with deep technical research and development capability. We build shredders up to 120cm cutting width, and the P20 uses the same cutter shaft and perforating head engineering as our industrial models. The cutter shaft is 40Cr steel, built for daily use.
The output is biodegradable packaging and degradable packing material, a practical alternative of plastic packing materials. It supports reuse cartons and turn waste into packing materials, which is the whole point of the setup.
