Order fulfillment is a race against the clock. The faster an order moves from pick to pack to ship, the more orders a team can handle in a day. Most of the delays are small and invisible: walking to the filler shelf, opening a bag, cutting bubble wrap, taping it around a product, walking back. Each step takes seconds. Across hundreds of orders, those seconds become hours. The Aircosan HM50-M is a mini honeycomb paper making machine that removes several of those steps by producing cushioning right at the packing station.

The first effect is fewer trips. When cushioning is made on demand at the bench, nobody walks to a shelf to restock bubble wrap or air pillows. The machine sits within reach, producing honeycomb paper as needed. That eliminates a category of movement that slows packers down without appearing on any report. The HM50-M measures 950x1150x1260mm, weighs 502kg net, and takes up just over 1 cubic meter, which is small enough to place at the station. Large honeycomb paper production lines need at least 6 cubic meters and only accept rolls over 1 meter wide, which forces a different layout. They also cost hundreds of thousands per unit, at least over 120,000. The HM50-M costs about one third of that.

The second effect is fewer material types. When one material handles wrapping, filling, padding, and separating, packers stop deciding which filler to use. That decision time adds up. Honeycomb paper is versatile enough to cover most packing needs, which simplifies the bench and speeds up each order.

The third effect is faster training. One-button start, a pressure gauge that shows status clearly, and a panel grouping emergency switch, start/stop, main unit speed control, manual feed, and foot-pedal paper receiving make the machine easy to learn. Pressure adapts automatically to paper thickness and can be adjusted by hand, so new staff do not need to memorize settings. Die-cutting speed is 5–18 m/min and adjustable, so packers can speed up during peak hours and slow down for fragile items. Power is 1.5kW at AC220V/50HZ, standard socket.

Reliability keeps the speed consistent. The die service life is 1.0–1.3 million meters. The cutter shaft is precision alloy steel, CNC turned and ground, so die-cutting results stay stable over long runs. The blade is cold-worked die steel, sharp and durable. Fewer breakdowns mean fewer interruptions during peak season.

The material effect supports the speed effect. Honeycomb paper is 100% plastic-free, biodegradable, and fully degradable, breaking down in 3–6 months versus over 500 years for plastic. It is 100% recyclable, while plastic recycling rates remain under 10%. It is a practical alternative of plastic packaging, so the switch improves throughput and reduces waste at the same time.

The machine supports virgin kraft paper and recycled paper, suitable paper ≤80gsm, paper roll length about 1700m, maximum unwind diameter 500mm. The PLC display supports multiple languages, useful in diverse teams, and it can be paired with a honeycomb paper dispenser to keep multiple stations supplied.

For e-commerce and fulfillment operations, the HM50-M is a machine for small business that removes handling steps from every order. It supports eco friendly packaging and a sustainable packaging solution while helping teams ship more in the same shift. Aircosan provides a dedicated 1-on-1 after-sales team.

If your packers spend more time fetching materials than packing, this is where the speed comes back.
