Warehouse space is never free. Every pallet position, every shelf, every square meter has a cost attached to it. When you stock five types of plastic filler, you are paying rent on all of them. Bubble wrap, air pillows, foam inserts, paper sheets, and pre-formed corners each take up space, and each one runs out at a different time. The Aircosan HM50-M is a mini honeycomb paper making machine that changes the equation. It replaces that inventory with one material: kraft paper. One paper roll, one machine, and cushioning produced on demand.
The first spatial effect is inventory consolidation. Instead of a wall of plastic fillers, you keep paper rolls. Suitable paper is ≤80gsm, paper roll length about 1700m, and maximum unwind diameter is 500mm. That is a compact storage profile compared to bags of air pillows and boxes of foam. The machine supports both virgin kraft paper and recycled paper, so you are not locked into a single supplier or material type.
The second spatial effect is the machine itself. The HM50-M measures 950x1150x1260mm, weighs 502kg net, and takes up just over 1 cubic meter. That is roughly the footprint of a small cabinet, which means it can sit at the packing station rather than in a dedicated production area. Large honeycomb paper production lines need at least 6 cubic meters and only accept rolls over 1 meter wide, which forces you to give up a significant part of the warehouse floor. They also cost hundreds of thousands per unit, at least over 120,000. The HM50-M costs about one third of that.
Power and operation keep it simple. 1.5kW at AC220V/50HZ, standard socket. One-button start, a pressure gauge that shows status clearly, and a panel grouping emergency switch, start/stop, main unit speed control, manual feed, and foot-pedal paper receiving. Pressure adapts automatically to paper thickness and can be adjusted by hand, so you do not need a specialist to run it.
Reliability protects the space savings. The die service life is 1.0–1.3 million meters. The cutter shaft is precision alloy steel, CNC turned and ground, so die-cutting results stay stable over long runs. The blade is cold-worked die steel, sharp and durable. Die-cutting speed is 5–18 m/min and adjustable, which means the machine can keep up during peak season without needing a second unit.
The material effect adds to the spatial effect. Honeycomb paper is 100% plastic-free, biodegradable, and fully degradable, breaking down in 3–6 months versus over 500 years for plastic. It is 100% recyclable, while plastic recycling rates remain under 10%. It is a practical alternative of plastic packaging, so you are not just saving space, you are reducing waste.
The PLC display supports multiple languages, useful in diverse warehouse teams. It can be paired with a honeycomb paper dispenser to keep multiple packing stations supplied from one machine.
For warehouses and fulfillment centers, the HM50-M is a machine for small business that turns a wall of plastic inventory into one paper roll. It supports eco friendly packaging and a sustainable packaging solution while freeing up floor space you can use for something else. Aircosan provides a dedicated 1-on-1 after-sales team.
If your warehouse is full of filler materials you rarely use, this is how you get that space back.
