Field service teams and remote maintenance crews often operate in locations far from company warehouses and supply depots. When equipment or replacement parts need to be shipped from the field, packaging materials are not always available. Teams may need to improvise packaging using whatever materials are on hand, leading to inadequate protection and damaged shipments. Transporting packaging supplies to remote sites adds cost and consumes limited transport capacity.
The Aircosan P10 addresses these challenges with portable, compact design. This desktop unit processes cardboard at 35cm width, 10mm thickness capacity, and 10 meters per minute speed. The small footprint and manageable weight make it practical for field service vehicles. Teams can produce protective mesh from cardboard received at remote locations, eliminating the need to carry bulky packaging supplies.
Aircosan operates our own manufacturing facility, where we also build equipment up to 120cm wide. The P10 shares engineering standards with our larger systems, ensuring reliable performance in field conditions. The unit operates from standard power outlets, making it suitable for various remote locations.
For field service teams, the P10 eliminates the need to transport packaging supplies to remote sites. Compared to carrying bubble wrap or foam to every location, the P10 produces material from available cardboard. The ability to produce packaging material at remote sites reduces transport weight and storage requirements in service vehicles. The P10 helps field service teams ship parts and equipment safely without relying on distant supply chains.
